The present owner is O.J. Sours. (1937)

DESCRIPTION:

It is a privately owned graveyard in very bad condition.  It is grown up in 
bushes and trees, and has not been cared for in several years.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

This old graveyard has long been a burying place.  We have no definite proof as 
to how long ago the first bodies were buried.  It was the burying ground of the 
Rothgebs and the Deckers who lived in the old house which stands nearby.  There 
are no inscriptions on any of the markers which are limestone rocks.  Mr. Isaac 
Short, who is 82 years old, tells me that when he was a boy this was an old 
graveyard then.
