PAGE COUNTY, VA - CEMETERIES – Fox Cemetery ----¤¤¤---- Source: Library of Virginia Digital Collection LVA Titled Files: Survey Report, Fox graveyard: 1936 Dec 7 Research made by Vivian Black Cemetery Location: 1.25 miles south of U.S. Route #211 on county Route #611, in the section of the county known as Dry Run. Page County, Virginia DATE: 1843, date of the oldest inscription. OWNERS: The present owner is Floyd Fox. (1936) DESCRIPTION: It is approximately 30 feet by 40 feet and is surrounded by a heavy wire fence supported by iron posts set in cement coping. It is private and in good condition. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The earliest graves are marked with round limestone or sandstones and have neither names nor dates. Nearly all the graves have a marker, but date after 1860. Alfred son of H. & E.
