Morris Cemetery Location: 2 miles south of Honeyville, Virginia. .5 mile west of Route #258. Page County, Virginia DATE: 1850, oldest inscription. OWNERS: Jake Louderback, present owner. (1936) DESCRIPTION: This cemetery is in the center of a large farm, but needs to be looked after. There are no inscriptions on the oldest of the tombstones. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: In most of the graveyards in this neighborhood can be found markers to the memory of the Kite, Shuler and Foltz families who were the pioneer settlers in this vicinity. The descendants of these families are prosperous, reliable and worthy citizens who believe in carrying on the tradition of their forefathers. They are an amiable group of people most of them living to a ripe old age. The following inscriptions are the only legible ones in this cemetery: John Kite Died April 20, 1840 Aged 45 yrs. 3 m. 90 days James Kite Died June 11, 1850 Aged 13 yrs. 4 mo.
