Morris Cemetery Location: 2.5 miles northeast of Stanley, Virginia. Near Route #624. Page County, Virginia DATE: 1805. OWNERS: Mrs. Sadie Leak, present owner. (1936) DESCRIPTION: This graveyard has not been cared for in many years, and is grown up in trees as well as underbrush. Some of the trees are quite large and the burying ground may be much older than the oldest inscription. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The only tombstone with an inscription is copied as follows: Mahel Offenbacker Istge born Den 30 Octoberi Miahrsch risti 1801 Mober istge stor ben Den 26 September 1805 On the reverse side is the following: Sfielfern Waren Hobund sei haus Frauch Dob.
