Page County, Virginia DATE: 1853, date of oldest inscription. OWNERS: The present owner is Joseph Sours. (1936) DESCRIPTION: It is a private graveyard kept in good condition. It is on a high hill, surrounded by a heavy wire fence. There are several boxwoods and three cedar trees. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The two stones with dates prior to 1860 are very delicate and skillfully carved. This work was done by the Almond brothers at Ida. M. P. W. b. Feby. 12th 1783 & D. March 5th 1856 A. 73 Y. & 22 D. M. S. W. b. May 1821 d. Oct. 12th 1853 aged 32 Years, 4 M 9 D. Others were buried here prior to 1860 but there are no dates or names on the stones.
