PAGE COUNTY, VA - WILLS - Abraham Beahm, 13 Feb 1846

I Abraham Beahm of the County of Page and State of Virginia, being desireous 
to dispose of the worldy goods that it has pleased God to bless me with, do 
hereby make my last will and testament, in manner and form following, that is 
to say. 

1st I desire that as soon after my death as practable that my Executor, 
hereafter named dispose of as much of my property as may be sufficient to pay 
all my just debts. 

2nd  After the payment of my debts I give to my beloved wife Mary Beahm all 
the balance of my estate both real and personal during her natural life of 
widowhood, and at her death or should she marry in either case my will and 
desire is that all my estate that then remains both real and personal be sold 
by my Executor, and the proceeds thereof to be equally divided among my eight 
children namely John R. Beahm, Jacob M. Beahm, Isaac S. Beahm, Henry A. Beahm, 
David B. Beahm,Daniel L. Beahm, James A. Beahm, and Andrew J. Beahm which I 
give to them and their heirs forever. 

And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend Addison P. Adams 
executor to this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other or 
formed wills by me heretofore made. 

In witness whereof I have hereunto signed my hand and affisced my seal this 
13th day of February 1846. 
Signed, sealed, published, and declared by Abraham Beahm to be his last will 
and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence 
have subscribed our names as witnesses.

Page County 
Court held for the County of Page on Monday the 21st day of May 1867. The last 
will and testament of Abraham Beahm deceased was proved according to law, by 
the authority of Nicholas W. Yager and Gideon J. Jones witnesses thereto, and 
is ordered to be recorded. And Addison A. Jones the Executor named in the Will 
appeared in Court and refused to take upon himself the burden of the execution 
thereof.
