It is located at GPS coordinates 36.80871, -80.19887. The cemetery is located about .2 miles behind a house at 1887 Iron Bridge Road. It is just off the banks of the Smith River downstream from the bridge that crosses the river. There are only five burials with the decedent's identity but there are more than nine burials either marked by a crude fieldstone or there is a sunken place in the ground which possibly represents a burial. According to the natives of the area, this cemetery is on an Indian mound and family members indicate that Indians might possibly be buried on this mound. That would appear to be accurate based on my observation as this mound was in close proximity to the river which would provide an abundant water supply.
