This cemetery is on land that is owned by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. It is at GPS coordinates 36.80893, -80.09522. Here are the driving AND walking directions. From Fairy Stone Park Highway in Patrick County, turn on Fairy Stone Lake Highway. Take the second left on Union Bridge Road. Go for six or seven miles and turn right at Union Primitive Baptist Church onto Union Church Road. Stay on this road and as you crest a hill, Will Spencer Road turns to your right. This is a dirt road. Go to the end of the dirt road. There is a gate to your left and a gate to your right. Take the left gate and you will go through another gate. After you pass that gate, you will see a roadbed to the right with another gate. Go down that road bed and remain on that road bed as you go under the American Electric Power line and to an open field. Hug the left side of that field right at the woods until you have to enter the woods on the left side. Philpott Reservoir will be down below you on the left. Just keep going with the reservoir, and you will walk just under 500 feet in the forest, and the cemetery is there. Again, you can see the reservoir from this cemetery. It is about a one-mile walk from the end of Will Spencer Road.
