It is stated this site used to be the location of Cross Roads Primitive Baptist Church. This cemetery was definitely the Green Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at one time as the minutes from that church were published. Since the church is defunct, it has been renamed to the current name. This cemetery is in a very remote and mountainous area of Patrick County, Virginia. Turn off Route 58 onto Trot Valley Road. Go about 1/2 mile and the cemetery is in a field to the right. This is a VERY old cemetery with about 20 graves represented by tombstones or other identifying information. There are probably fifty to seventy five unmarked graves represented by crude fieldstones. The last burial in this cemetery was 57 years ago (1965). Someone is taking care of this cemetery as it is being mowed.
