This cemetery is very hard to get to as it is located on the east slope of Poor Mountain about .14 miles from an extreme bend of the Smith River. It is about 1.38 miles from Heidelbach School Road but you will be forced to utilize trails and it is very mountainous and treacherous in this area. There are multiple unknown graves in this cemetery although since this is a family cemetery, it is believed that all graves are connected to the Emberson family. Prior to beginning the search, there was only one person that we could find that had ever been to this cemetery. Since most people moved out of Dodson in the 1950's and 1960's, it is highly likely that anyone has been there since that era.
