A report of a View of a Road from Abners Ridge into the same Road again a Short Distance beyond William Handcock Returned & O.R. George Dodson Senr. John Pulliam John Randalls & William Sharp or any 3 of them are appd. to View a way for a Road from out of the Road called Bull Mountain Road above Newmans to John Cammerons & make report thereof the Next Court. Nathan Litrell is appd. Surveyor of the Road in the Place of John Sharp from Patrick Courthouse into the Road near Shadrick Barretts & the former list and the hands within the former bounds be his Gang. The Defendants Dudley Rutherford, William Jones & William Arnold not having entered their appearance and Given security according to the Act of Assembly & the Rules of this Court and it appearing to the Satisfaction of the Court that they are not Inhabitants of this Country. AUGUST COURT (13 August 1793) James Lyon Gentleman Bursar for this County is appointed to Collect the Money arising from the lots sold in the Town of Taylorsville and appropriate the same to the Use of this County when legally called for. Miller Easley is allowed 1 days attend. as a Witness for Senter ads. Mankin Eliphaz Shelton is allowed 1 days attend. as a Witness for Jesse Mankin v T. Senter. Archelaus Shelton 1 day for the same. (14 August 1793) Eliphaz Shelton is appointed Guardian for Easop Shelton, Abigal Shelton, Mary Shelton & Liberty Shelton, Infants & Heirs of Ralph Shelton deceased.
