Heirs of Moses Hurt to Rowland Hurt

Know all men by these presents that we, John Hurt, Edward Hylton, James 
Lawson, Joseph Hurt, Joshua West, Cornelius Thompson & Obediah Burnett 
Jr. children and heirs of Moses Hurt decd. late of the county of 
Patrick and State of Virginia, have made, ordained, constituted and 
appointed and by these presents do make, constitute and appoint Rowland 
Hurt of Patrick County & State aforesaid our true and lawful attorney 
for us and in our names, but to our use, to ask, demand, sue for, 
recover & receive of the representatives of Joseph Hurt decd. late of 
the County of Wayne and State of Kentucky all such sum of sums of money 
or other property which may be due to us from the estate of the said 
Joseph Hurt decd. as heirs of the said Moses Hurt, he being one of the 
children and heirs of the said Joseph Hurt decd. and upon payment of 
the same, or any part thereof for us and in our names to give a 
___________ and discharge therefore and the money or property so by him 
received immediately thereupon to pay over to us or our representatives 
or to our order: and further to do and execute all ordinary other 
lawful act and acts needful for recovering, receiving & obtaining of 
the said money or property or any part thereof, but to our use as 
aforesaid as fully and affectually, to all intents and purposes as if 
we were personally present, hereby satisfying and confirming whatsoever 
our said attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done in or about the 
premises. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed 
our seals this (blank) day of November 1830.
