VA Elizabeth McMillian vs Jared Branson (Land Dispute) December 4, 1810, Patrick County, Virginia We the Jury being impaneled for the purpose of trying whether Betty McMillion alias Deprad has more right to hold the land mentioned in the Warrant by which we are hereby impaneled and said McMillion alias Deprad appearing on the premises says she has more right to hold the premises than the Demandant has to demand and here upon issue is found being duly Sworn by Thomas Whitlock, a Justice of the Peace for the County of Patrick foresaid Inquest do say that the Demandant Jarard Branson has more right to demand and have possession of the premises aforesaid than said McMillion has to hold, given under our hand and seal this 4th day of December 1810.
