Date: 11 July 1791 Recorded: 1795 KNOW all men by these Presents that I Eliphaz Shelton of the county of Patrick am held & firmly bound unto the Justices of the County Court aforesaid & their Successors in the Just & full Sum of Five hundred pounds Current Money to which payment well & Truly to be made I bind myself my heirs Exors. or Admrs. firmly by these presents Sealed with my Seal & dated this 11th day of July 1791. THE CONDITION of the above Obligation is Such that if the above bound Eliphaz Shelton his heirs Exors. or Admrs. shall well and Truly make or cause to be made to the sd Justices or their Successors a Good and Lawfull right in Fee Simple To Twenty Acres of Land in the said County for the purpose of erecting the publick buildings on for the use of this County and for any Purpose as They Shall Choose and the sd. 20 acres of Land to be laid of[f] by William Banks Saml. Clark Charles Foster & William Carter Gent. or any three of them then the within Obligation to be void or Else remain in full force power & Virtue. That the within named Eliphaz Shelton or his heirs &c. is to have Two acres of the within mentioned 20 Acres of Land Laid of[f] by the sd.
