Harrold Know all men by their presents that I THOMAS AYERS of the County of Patrick for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and certified, hath granted bargained and sold by these presented do grant bargain and sell and deliver unto PHEBE AYERS the just sum of fifteen head of hogs and one feather bed and furniture. And I do hereby obligate myself my Heirs and do in account and forever defend unto the said PHEBE AYERS and her heirs forever as good and lawful right a title to the aforesaid property against the claims or demands and every person or persons whatsoever either in law or equity.
