VA Deed I.C. Dehart etal/Darius Dehart Source: Patrick County Virginia Deeds, Book 36, Page 213 This Deed, made this the third day of April in the year nineteen hundred and eight between I.C. Dehart and Mollie J. Dehart his wife and J. H. Dehart and Daisy J. Dehart his wife and Flemming Dehart parties of the first part and Darius I. Dehart party of the second part, all of the county of Patrick and State of Virginia, Witnesseth: that in consideration of Three Hundred and twenty three Dollars and fifty cents in hand paid the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged, the said parties of the first part doth hereby grant sell and convey unto the said party of the second part with General Warranty all of two tracts of land lying in Patrick County, Virginia and bounded as follows: tract no. one contains one hundred and forty five acres, be the same more or less and beginning at the corner white oak on the north side of Rock Castle Creek, thence down the creek at high water mark crossing two branches, thence S67E75 pos. to a maple at the bend of the creek near the mouth of the branch, thence S66W42 pos. to Spanish Oak on the north side of the road; thence S75E71 pos. to a Spanish oak thence N30E22 to a double chestnut oak in Jefferson Taylors line, thence with the road N55E18 pos to pointers, thence N60E22 pos to a Spanish Oak at or near Samuel Sneeds line thence with Sneeds line near James Conners fence, thence S70W24 pos to a corner Maple, then N10W70 pos to a chestnut tree in Conners line, thence N247W12 pos to pointers, thence N32W31 pos to a chestnut oak thence S74W28 pos to pointers and a locust stump then N15W138 pos to the beginning. Track number two contains forty four and three eighths acres, be the same more or less and boundary begins on a dogwood in J. H. Dehart's line, S23W23 pos to a black pine S32W33 pos to a dogwood; S44W70 1/2 pos to a dogwood, S28W24 pos to a stone, S68W6 pos to a mahogany on Rock Castle Creek, thence down the creek and meanders S43 1/2E30 pos S60E31 pos to a point on the creek at mouth of branch thence N16E69 pos to a chestnut oak, thence straight line to White Oak and gum, thence N46Ne17 pos to a dogwood; N60W36 pos to a red oak, S87W22 pos to the beginning. Together with all appurtenances to the said lands in any wise appurtenances and the said lands to the said second party his heirs or assigns forever in quiet and peaceful possession. Dehart, his wife and Fleming Dehart whose names and signed to the hereto annexed deed bearing the date of April 3rd 1908, have acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid.
