Bill of Sale
Dehart from Hubbard

This indenture made this 11th day of June 1835 between Susannah Hubbard and
Elijah Dehart both of the County of Patrick and State of Virginia witnesseth
that I the said Susannah Hubbard hath this day bargained sold released and
confirms unto Elijah Dehart two thirds of the negroes now in my possession viz
Lucy and her children Booker and Clark with all her future increase to be
divided when applies for by E Dehart or Susannah Hubbard equal agreeable a
value S. Hubbard one part and E Dehart two parts the receipt is hereby
acknowledged that I the said Susannah Hubbard hath bargained sold and
delivered the above name negroes slaves for the sum of three hundred and
seventy two dollars to me in hand paid by the said Elijah Dehart also we both
have made our choice where as there yet some not paid of the purchase money
when purchased of Zephaniah Gension that  agreeable to the contract we chose
to pay it in money as directed in the agreement where unto I the said Susannah
Hubbard hath hereunto give under my hand and seal in the presents of

This Bill of sale from Susannah Hubbard to Elijah Dehart was proved in open 
court to be the act and decree of the said S. Hubbard and ordered to be 
recorded.
