LEE, TRUSTEE to HARDIN W. REYNOLDS-1848 THIS INDENTURE made this third day of March 1848 by virtue of a Deed of Trust executed by James H. Dalton to John G. Lee, Trustee for the benefit of H. W. Reynolds and duly recorded in the Clerk's office in the County of Patrick for certain purpose mentioned and by virtue of said Deed,J. G. Lee. Trustee on the 28th day of February 1843[sic] sold the land and the premises conveyed in said conveyance to the highest bidder for ready money and H. W. Reynolds was the purchaser of the same land at the bid of one hundred and seventy five dollars. The quantity of land conveyed in Deed is eighty two acres more or less and bounded as hereafter named. Beginning on the waters of Spoon Creek, beginning at a forked Red Oak on the East side of the old road thence running ____at 42degrees 6s 83 poles to____in Spoon Creek. Thence to a stump S35 W32 po to a corner of the fence in the creek thence____of the same S68 W68____to a Hickory near the old line gate,thence S80 W44 to the beginning with all wood in any way belonging to same land or fences of land ,water and water course, fences,house,and to the use and comfort of H. W. Reynolds and hie heirs and the said land conveyed in deed in Trust heretofore as well____fully appear by reference to the same in the Clerk's office in the County of Patrick and the said H. W. Reynolds is to fully enjoy the same forever by virtue of said Trust. I,John G. Lee,Trustee,do this day convey to H. W. Reynolds and his heirs a Deed for the same land and convey to said H. W. Reynolds such title as are invested in me as Trustee and no other. Given under my hand this 3rd day of March 1848_________________________John G.
