VA DEED-JOHN G.LEE to PETER A.LEE-1844 Surname: LEE, FRANS, FRANCE, TUDOR, TATUM, CLARK Deed Book 12,page 88,Patrick County This Indenture made and entered into between John G.Lee of the one part and Peter A.Lee of the second part and each in the County of Patrick.The said Deed from John G.Lee for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Peter A.Lee, the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged.The said John G.Lee have[sic]bargained and sold and conveyed by these presents do sell unto Peter A.Lee his heirs forever one lot of land in the County of Patrick and state of Virginia containing by survey one hundred and seventy-five acres more or less and bounded as follows.Beginning at Pointers in Jno. Tatum's line that line N.55 and 132 poles to a white oak in Geo. Clarks old line now the line of Col. A.Staples N19 12 poles to a black oak N36,and 78 po.[sic] to a maple on the branch then up the branch N28 and 28 po.[sic] to a maple then off N75 and 66 po.[sic] to a red oak ,N18 and 80 po.[sic] to a black and post oak, S66 and 81 po.[sic] crossing a branch to a red oak.S5 and 250 poles to the beginning with all appurtances in any respect,water,houses,and all rights and profits arising therefrom to Peter A.Lee and his heirs to fully enjoy forever free from John G.Lee and his heirs and to defend the rights and title to the land conveyed to Peter A.Lee and his forever,in witness,I have set my hand and seal this 25th day of May 1844.
