THIS INDENTURE made this First day of Feb. in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred 
and Six between Blizard Magruder of the county of Patrick and State of Virginia of the one part
and Robert Sharp of the said County of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration 
of the sum of Fifty Six Dollars current money of Virginia to him in hand paid before the 
ensealing and delivery of These Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
bargained sold released and confirmed unto the said Robert Sharp his heirs and assigns one 
certain tract or Parcel of land situate lying and being in the county aforesaid containing 
Fifty Six acres more or less and bounded as follows to wit Begining at Sharps Corner white oak 
thence new line N°65E.36 po to a Black Gum in Wallons old order Line which (?) that line 
S°12E54 Poles to pointers S°34E 220 Poles to a Spanish oak S°55 W 98 po. to Sharps corner white 
oak on a branch with his line N°8E 116 po crossing a br. to a Red oak N°30 W 140 poles to the 
Begining with all woods ways water and water courses trees orchards Houses Fences and all other 
the emoluments thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the same 
unto the said Robert Sharp his heirs and assigns with its Appurtainances to hold and fully 
enjoy the same and I do for myself my heirs etc forever warrant and defend the right and title 
of the land and Premises to him the said Robert Sharp and his heirs forever against the claim 
or demand of any Person or Persons whatever either in law or equity in Witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above Written.
