McMillion/McMillion Deed, 1805 - Patrick Co. VA Deed, William McMillion to Nathaniel McMillion, April 25, 1805 This indenture made this 25th day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eighteen hundred and five, between William McMillion of the county of Patrick, and state of Virginia, of the one part, and Nathaniel McMillian of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred current money of Virginia, to be paid in hand, paid before the unsealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, released and confirmed unto the said Nathaniel McMillion one certain Track or Parcel of Land situate, lying and being in the county aforesaid. Containing fifty acres, and bounded as follows, to wit: beginning at a popular on a large spur of the main Blue Ridge, bearing from the spur twenty four Degrees East, thence new lines South five Degrees East thirty two poles to a chestnut, thence a conditional for quantity. With all Woods, ways, water and water courses, Trees, Orchards, Houses, Fences, and all other the emoluments thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the same, unto the said Nathaniel McMillion, with its appurtenances, to hold and fully enjoy the same and I do for myself, my heirs, for an warrant and defend the right and title of the Land and premises, to him the said Nat[haniel] McMillian and his heirs for ever, against the claim or demand of any person or persons whatsoever, either in law or equity. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above written.
