McMillion/Jones Deed, 1805 - Patrick Co. VA Deed to Paul McMillion from William Jones, March 26, 1805, Patrick County, Virginia THIS INDENTURE made the 26th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five BETWEEN WILLIAM JONES of Grayson County and State of Virginia of the one part and PAUL MCMILLION of Patrick County and State of Virginia, of the other part, Witnesseth that he the said WILLIAM JONES for use in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds current money of the state aforesaid to him in hand paid by the said PAUL MCMILLION, the Receipt whereof he doth acknowledge himself fully satisfied, hath given granted bargained sold and delivered and conferred and by these presents Doth give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said PAUL MCMILLION his heirs and assigns forever a certain track or parcel of land containing fifty acres by survey bearing date the nineteenth day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety five lying and being in the county of Patrick on Johnson's Creek and bounded as follows, to wit. Beginning at large poplar on said branch, thence N. 39 E. 72 poles to a red oak in Erveses line, thence the same S. 62, E. 17 poles to a Chestnut, N 46 E. 60 poles to a Chestnut N. 20 E. 38 poles crossing a branch to a poplar S. 70. E. 28 poles to a White Oak S. 65 E. 120 poles o Wallers corner at the mouth of a branch on the aforesaid Creek, thence up the same as it wanders 240 poles to the beginning. With its appurtenances to have and to hold the said track or parcel of land with all the promises herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby granted, with all and Every of their appurtenances unto the said PAUL MCMILLION and to his heirs and assigns forever and the said WILLIAM JONES and his heirs the track of land and all and singular the premises herein before mentioned to the said PAUL MCMILLION and to his heirs and to his and their proper use or uses against the Claim Charge or Demand of all persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and ever Defend by these presents in witnesseth whereof the said WILLIAM JONES hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this 26th day of March 1805.
