Sharp/Sharp Deed, 1810 Patrick County, Va., Deed Book 3, p. 293 Grantor: Robert Sharp Grantee: Leonard Sharp Date: 6 April 1810 This Indenture made this Sixth day of April in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred & ten between Robert Sharp of the County of Patrick of the one part & Leonard Sharp of the Same County of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the rect. whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained & sold released & Confirmed unto the said Leonard Sharp his heirs & assigns forever one certain tract piece or percl of land Situate lying & being in the County aforesaid on the Head Waters of Russells Creek Containing one hundred acres more or less and Bounded as followeth to Wit Begining at a Corner white in sd. Robert Sharps line Runing thence with the old line a northwest Course to a white oak thence with the said old line patented in Joshua Hudsons name a west Course on other Cor thence with said lin a South Course to a Sorrelwood in Said Robert Sharps line thence with his line to the Begining it being the Same land that John Hall originally Sold to John Sharp Jr. & from him to Said Robert Sharp with all woods ways Water & Water Courses fences trees orchards houses etc. & all other the Emoluments thereunto belonging or in any any wise appertaining to have and to hold the Same to him the Said Leonard Sharp his heirs forever against me my heirs & all & every other person or persons whatever in law or equity recovering or having any Just right or titl or estate therein but do by these presents Warrant & Defend the land & premises above mentioned to him the said Leonard Sharp his Successors to hold & fully enjoy the Same In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & affixed my Seal the day & year first above Writtin and in the thirty fourth year of the CommonWealth of Virginia.
