Virginia Service Of John Cruise
John Cruise served under John Corn Co., Virginia. WO 25041 and WC 24567 bounty 
land warrants 9029-40-50 and 40627-120-55. He enlisted February 4, 1815, and was 
discharged March 2, 1815. Residence of soldier 1853 and 1854 was in Patrick Co., 
Virginia. 1879 the widow's residence was PO Snake Creek, Carroll Co., Va. 
Soldier's first wife was Mary Martin and current wife was Hannah Cockran. Date of 
soldier's marriage was June 27, 1861, Patrick Co., Va. Death of soldier was March 
18, 1866., Patrick Co., Va. Death of widow about 1829.
