Hylton 4.Pass registration cards, by members of each committee, for name and address (plainly written) 5.Ten minutes talk, each, by most competent person chosen by the committees to represent each family. 6.Introduction and hopeful expressions, from the oldest surviving members of the respective families who may be present. 7.March to the grave, where the dust being borne from respective homes, will be sprinkled on the graves with final rites, which is suggested be a characteristic of the family membership. 8.Return to the stand, where committees will be vested, we trust, with power for much needed cemetery improvement. 9.To compile these proceedings in minute form and mail a copy to each registered member and say where and when, the next meeting shall be. 10.Social circles, for acquaintance, as far as possible under management of committees. 11.Farewell benediction with the song God be with you Til we meet again, by whom committees shall choose. Page 4 HOW TO REACH REUNION GROUNDS Parties from West Virginia wishing to attend the First General Reunion to the Wood Family to be held on Wood=s Gap Road, Patrick County, Virginia, May 30th, if traveling by train take the Norfolk & Western to Christiansburg, and take private conveyance from that pointCa distance of some 24 miles. If traveling by bus or private car, go via Princeton, W. Va., Narrows, Balcksburg and Christiansburg, Va., leaving the Lee Highway at the latter town, going direct to Floyd Court House, which is about 4 miles northwest from the reunion grounds. Go prepared to trace your relationship back through the generations to Richard Wood and thereby assist the various committees in preparing what we hope will evolve into a history of the Wood Family.
