The obsequies were very largely attended , the interment being made near his home. He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Turner, and a little daughter. Investigation of the shooting shows that it was committed in Patrick about fifty yards from the Henry line. Sheriff Stultz has been rendering assistance in trying to run down the slayers while the Patrick authorities are actively engaged in endeavoring to bring them to justice. Cox is said to have been worh $75,000 at the time of his death.
