News was received here of the death of George Bouldin, resident of the Buffalo Ridge section of Patrick county, caused by injuries received Sunday night when his light touring car went over an embankment, near Fayerdale, and close to the Fairystone park area. It was said that Bouldin attempted to pass a truck and in doing so went too far on the road’s edge, the car taking a plunge over the embankment. Bouldin received a fractured skull and other serious injuries, death coming shortly afterwards as passers by were carrying him to Bassett for medical attention. Several other members of his family, occupants of the machine, escaped injury. Full particulars were unavailable from civil authorities.
