MARTINSVILLE MORNING POST, Martinsville, Va., Mon., Mar. 22, 1937, p. 1, col. 2 
[edited].  Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Ann Bryant, 74, wife of Charles Bryant, 
well known citizen and farmer of the Dodson (Patrick Co.) community, who died last 
Wednesday at her home after a brief illness, were held the following day from the 
home, with burial following in the family cemetery.  Surviving are:  her husband 
and six children, as follows:  Thomas E.,  Charles P., and Rosa and Dolly Bryant, 
all of Dodson;  Mrs. Robert P. Grogan of Martinsville;  Mrs. Dewey Hylton, Roanoke,

two sisters, Mrs. Lou Akers, Roanoke;  Mrs. John W. Bryant, Fieldale;  two 
brothers, I. R. Akers, Dodson and D. P. Akers of Bassett.
