Mrs. Malinda V. Hall, widow of the late L. P. Hall, died January 27, at the age of 84. She is survived by her five children: Mrs. M. E. Roberson, Permila Mize, E. C. Hall of Buffalo Ridge and Mrs. Nan F. Conner of Woolwine and Moses Hall of Buffalo Ridge. She was a regular member of the Primitive Baptist church for more than 70 years. The paper dated Feb. 5, p. 3, col. 5, Buffalo Ridge, adds the following. Mrs. Virginia M. Hall, aged 84, died on Jan. 26th. Burial was made in the family plot at Goblintown church, beside her husband who preceded her by a few years. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mary Roberson, Charity; Mrs. Nannie Conner, Woolwine; Mrs. H. H. Mize, Moses T., and E. C. Hall of this place, also by one brother, John T. Stovall land a sister, Mrs. Ruth Pilson, both of Henry county. Additional Comments: It would appear that whoever transcribed this article placed the wrong date as Melinda passed away on January 26, 1936....not 1937 as this article indicates. She is buried in the Goblintown Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Goblintown Road in a remote area of Patrick County, Virginia.
