The Henry Bulletin, March 3, 1931
THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Tue., Mar. 3, 1931, p. 4 [edited].  Dodson, 
R.F.D.  Mrs. Venie Jefferson died at her home in Elamsville on Feb. 23, after a 
long and severe illness.  Funeral services were conducted on the 24th, and burial 
followed near her late home by the side of her husband who died two years ago.  
She is survived by one son, James Jefferson, and three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. 
Ross, Misses Pattie and Laura Jefferson of Elamsville (Patrick Co.)

Additional Comments:
She is buried in the Jefferson Cemetery which is located on Elamsville Road in 
Patrick County, Virginia.  When you go into the very sharp paper clip curve, you 
will see a house in the curve.   Just go past that house and the cemetery is on 
the same side of the road as the house in the woods.
