CHARLIE B. MARTINy

  STUART--Charlie Bishop Martin, 76, of Route 4 in the Fairystone Park section, 
died early this morning in Stuart Hospital.
  A retired merchant, he was a native and life-long resident of Patrick County.  
He was the son of William and Celie Bryant Martin.
  Surviving are two sons, Austin and Amos Martin of Stuart Route 2; and one 
daughter, Mrs. Hallie Lawson of Stuart Route 2.
  Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Union Primitive Baptist 
Church by Elder Leonard Brammer.
  Burial will be in Goodwill Church Cemetery.
  The body will remain at Moody Funeral Home until one hour prior to services.
