THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., Feb. 28, 1930, p. 6, col. 1 
[edited].  Dodson.  Mrs. Sally Anne Rorer, wife of Lee Rorer, died at her home 
in Spray, N.C., on Feb. 20th, after a short illness of pneumonia, and her 
remains were brought here on Friday and funeral services were held at the 
Goodwill Church of the Brethren, of which the deceased was a faithful member, 
and burial was in the church cemetery.   She is survived by her aged husband and 
two daughters, Mrs. Bettie Hopkins of Greensboro, N.C., and Mrs. Minnie Thore of 
West Virginia, and one son, Taylor J. Rorer, of this place;  one daughter, Mrs. 
Mary Foley, having preceded her in death a good many years ago.  A large number 
of friends and relatives from Spray attended, also a large number from this 
community were in attendance as a last respect for one who formerly lived here.
