Henry, Jan. 10. The remains of Mr. Posie Setliff who died in France about two years ago, were sent to his home near Dodson on Jan. 8th. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. John A. Setliff. He was a faithful soldier until a few weeks before his death when he was taken with the heart disease. There was only a small crowd present owing to the snow and rain when his remains were laid to rest on Sunday, Jan. 9th in the family burial ground near the home. Additional Comments: He was not buried until two years after his death. He is buried in the Akers- Bryant Cemetery located just off Union Bridge Road. The cemetery is about 1/2 mile past Union Primitive Baptist Church and about 1/4 past the old Dodson post office. After passing the old post office and a white two story house on the left that sits off the road, there is a road with a gate. Turn on that road and go about 25 yards or so. It is on the left in the woods.
