MARTINSVILLE DAILY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., April 7, 1939, p. 11, col. 3 
[edited].  Funeral services for John P. (T!) Stovall, 80-year-old Henry countain 
who died unexpectedly early today at his home near Pleasant Grove, will be held 
from Goblintown Primitive Baptist Church in Patrick County Saturday.  Interment 
will follow in the church cemetery.  Surviving are his wife and the following 
children:  Calvin, Joseph,  and Leland Stovall, all of Martinsville;  Mesdames A. 
E. Sutphin and Tom Morris, this city, and George Mitchell of Reidsville N.C.  One 
sister, Mrs. Ruth Pilson, Pleasant Grove, also remains.
