Stuart. Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Woods, 71, who died yesterday afternoon at her home near Dodson (Patrick Co.) of pneumonia, were held today at the family burial ground near the home. No services were held at the home because her husband, the Honorable D. H. Woods, is also critically ill with pneumonia. The deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Stovall. She was married to Mr. Woods in 1891. Besides her husband, who represented Patrick county in the State House in 1906, Mrs. Wood is survived by several stepchildren, and other near relatives. The paper dated Sat., Feb. 1st, p. 5, col. 4, Stuart dateline, adds that she is also survived by one brother, J. T. Stovall of Bassett and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Hall, of Buffalo Ridge, and Mrs. Ruth Pilson of Bassett. She had no children, but leaves several step children.
