THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Tue., Oct. 27, 1931, p. 3, col. 7 [edited]. 

DODSON R. F. D.  Mr. Green Wright died on Sunday, October 18th and was laid to 
rest Tuesday near his late home.  He was bout 80 years old and leaves seven 
children, all of whom attended the burial except one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Parker 
who was ill.  Granddaughters of the deceased acted as flower bearers.  A large 
crowd was in attendance.
