  This is a photograph of Charlie Bishop Martin and his wife Lila Elizabeth Bryant 
Martin sitting outside at Martin's Store which was situated on the banks of Little 
Goblintown Creek in the Smith River Magisterial District of Patrick County.  The 
other gentleman in the hat is allegedly Pinkney Clark who lived nearby.
