Marriage Bond—Peter A Lee and Ann Mariah Frashure/Frazier- Patrick County, VA; 
11 August 1845
This section is handwritten across the top of this page;
To; Col. A. Staples, 
Dear Sir, 
I hereby authorize you as Clerk of the Court of Patrick County to furnish Capt. 
Peter A Lee with License to marry my daughter Anmariah, this Aug the 11th 1845.

This section is printed with dates and names added in  handwriting;
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, Peter A Lee and Hamon Critz, are held 
and firmly bound unto the commonwealth of Virginia in the just and full sum of 
One hundred and fifty dollars, current money to be paid to the said Governor 
for the time being, and his successors in office; to which payment well and 
truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and each of us, our heirs, executors and 
administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.  Sealed with 
our seals, and dated this 11th day of August 1845.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH,  That whereas there is a 
marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound 
Peter A Lee and Ann Mariah Frazier of Patrick County:  Now, if there be no 
lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage, then the above obligation to be 
void, else to remain in force.

Peter Alexander Lee was the son of John G. Lee and Susan Frans and Ann Mariah 
Frashure/Frazier was the daughter of Benjamin Frashure/Frazier and Virginia
