Note 2: All of the slaves except Sarah and "One Old Negro Woman" that are listed in the inventory are also mentioned in Frederick's will--assuming Jane and Jenny are the same person; Sarah would then probably be Seel's child, unborn at the writing of the will. Note 3: Based on my understanding of pence/shilling/pound equivalencies (12 pence = 1 shilling; 20 shillings = 1 £), the amount carried forward at the bottom of page 1 and the final total on page 3 are correct. However, the amount carried forward at the bottom of page 2 is incorrect. It should be 611 - 7 - 4. p 26 All Inventory of the Estate of Frederick Fulkerson Deceased with the appraisment thereto-- £ 1 Negro man named Tom 45 " " 1 ditto ditto Natt 75 " " 1 ditto woman Seal 60 " " 1 ditto ditto Nance 45 " " 1 ditto girl Jane 40 " " 1 ditto ditto Phillis 35 " " 1 ditto ditto Violet 22 10 " 1 ditto ditto Sarah 20 " " 1 Roan Mare 10 " " 1 Dark bay Horse 3 " " 1 Roan Mare 7 10 " 1 Roan Horse 6 " " 1 Dark Bay Colt 5 " " 1 Bright Bay Mare 10 5 " 1 Roan Colt 9 " " 28 head Cattle 43 " " 10 head Sheep 3 15 " 47 head Hoggs 10 9 " 1 Still and Crosscut Saw 15 12 " 1 Whip Saw 2 " " 1 Large Kettle 1 6 8 1 10 Gallon Pott " 16 8 1 8 ditto " 15 " 2 Trammels " 15 " 2 pr pott Hooks " 4 " 1 Small Pott " 6 " 1 old Bake oven " 2 6 1 Frying Pan " 4 " 1 sett Smiths Tools 5 5 " Wood Work of Waggon 2 " " Waggon Irons 2 18 " Carpenters Tools 1 9 6 1 Cutting Knife " 6 " 18 Hoes 1 5 " 3 Bells " 10 " Sundry Plantation Tools 3 6 9 Carried forward £ 489 11 1 p 26a £ Brought forward 489 11 1 72 head geese 7 4 " 1 pr Stillards " 6 " 2 small Skittels [Skillets?] " 4 " 1 Coffee Pott and Tea Kettle " 15 " 1 old brass Skettel [Skellet?] " 6 " 2 Hackels [?] " 18 " 1 Shovel & Spitt " 7 " 1 Pr. flat Irons " 7 " 1 Pr.
