Amen. I Mary Frans of Patrick & State of Va., being weak & low in body but in my perfect senses; I calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is once appointed for all to die do therefore make & ordain this as my last will & testament in manner & form as followeth. First it is my desire & wish, that all my just debts should be paid secondly it is my desire that all my estate, such as stock of every description household, & kitchen furniture plantation utensils, & all monies in my possession or money due me or shall hereafter become due, shall be equally divided between my son Danl Frans, & my grandson Martin Miller, to them & their heirs forever & lastly I do hereby constitute & appoint my son Danl Frans & my grandson Martin Miller Executors to this my last will & testament, hereby revoking & disanulling[?], all other wills, & testaments, or bequests by me made & declaring this to be my last will & testament, In witness whereof I have hereunto set & affixed my hand & seal this 12th day of May 1815 Signed sealed & acknowledged Nancy Frans (her X mark) [seal] in presence of us Geo Penn Josiah Ferris[?] Joseph Stovall Patrick October Court 1817 This will was partly proven in open court to be the act & deed of the within named Mary Frans decd & certified for further proving & afterwards at November Court 1817 the same was further & fully proven & ordered to be recorded.
