Wife of John B. Tucker Daughter of Thos. & Elizabeth Daniel Died July 18, 1859 Aged 37 years – 7 months – 26 days This monument is erected by her husband as a token of affectionate regard and remembrance to her, who in life was the bright particular star, of his domestic circle, the mother of his children. The charm of his affections, and who though dead yet liveth fondly cherished in this memory. None to console, and cheer domestic life. She gave a sweet example as a wife, how to be virtuous circumspect and kind. Her children learned from her instructive mind but most her husband felt her tender care. Most now he feels the anguish of despair. His friends and neighbors can not give relief. They knew her worth and only swell his grief. The deceased was survived by her husband and four children. As a wife she was kind affectionate and beloved as a mother unremitting in attention and devotion to her off spring, as a member of society, gentle, amiable, and dignified, she has gone hence lamented by hr family, missed by society; peace to her ashes and may a crown of bliss ever encircle her pure bright brow.
