Nov. 3. 1/5. Died at the residence of his brother, John Darracott in Henrico County on Sunday last. He was in the 40th year of his life. 1858 Petersburg Daily Express - November 4 1/4 The Late Benjamin F. Darracott. The death of this gentleman was very briefly noticed in the yesterday's Express. Deceased was known to Railroad men & travellers generally throughout the South. He resided for a year or more in this city & was a warm-hearted and genial friend. A man of "infinite jest" he ever brought sunshine with his presence and few men have ever died who were more beloved or who left behind them fewer enemies. 1858 Petersburg - the Press - November 4. 2/3 Died: On Sunday 31st October, at 11 o'clock p.m. Benjamin F.
