(Special to The Times-Dispatch.) PETERSBURG, VA., July 24. - The funeral of Mr. Thaddeus M. Woody, who died suddenly of heart disease in the Plaza Hotel at Asbury Park, N.J., Saturday evening, took place this morning in Blandford Cemetery. A.P. Hill Camp of Confederate Veterans, to which Mr. Woody belonged, met the train and attended the funeral. "Thad" Thaddeus Milford WOODY, Petersburg tobacconist, Confederate veteran, b. 8 Dec 1840, Richmond, d. 21 Jul 1906, Plaza Hotel, Asbury Park, NJ, interred in Blandford Cemetery*, Petersburg, 24 Jul 1906, "Times-Dispatch" (Richmond, VA), No. 17,265, July 25, 1906, p. 5, col. 6-7 *Middle name &c. from Find a Grave Mem. #49729485 His parents, William L. & "Jane" Jeanetta WOODY, are also buried there. He served in the 12th & 13th VA Infantry, CSA. He m. Adrian 'Alice' HARRISON, daughter of A.C. & Caroline E. HARRISON, 20 Feb 1872, in Petersburg.
