Pittsylvania Co., Virginia DATE: 1847. Oldest grave [marker]. OWNERS: See manuscript of “Green Rock” dated July 29, 1936. DESCRIPTION: The graveyard is situated a short distance from the Green Rock house. It is enclosed by an iron fence. There are a number of rocks outside of this fence indicating that others were buried here, but there are not markers showing just who they are. Linthicum Born Feb. 20, 1868 Died July 17, 1868 Mary Bell daughter of Wm. H. and S.A. Linthicum Born 22nd June 1858 Died 2nd June 1859 Rawley Williamson son of E.R. & M.E.
