Crawley. Pittsylvania Co., Virginia DATE: 1820. OWNERS: William Clark D. H. Crawley 1838 DESCRIPTION: This family burying ground is situated about 25 yards from the old home of William Clark, known as “Pineville”, and is enclosed by an iron fence. To the right after entering the gate there lies buried William Clark and wife Jane in one tomb overcovered by a tall brick wall with a flat slab thereon, from which it reads as follows: Sacred to the memory of Col.
