Cemetery on the east side of the road. Pittsylvania Co., Virginia DATE: 1837. OWNERS: Christopher Conway and Son James W. Conway 1837 to present date. (1937) And their descendants. DESCRIPTION: This is just a family burying ground. There is no fence. Not very well kept. Grown up with bushes, berries and all kinds of wild vines, there are a few trees here and there, but no flowers. There are quite a few graves with no markers, only old field stones at the head and foot of the graves. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscriptions are found in this cemetery: Christopher Conway Married Jan. 17, 1788 Died April 12th, 1854 His age not known Annie Conway Wife of Christopher Conway Died Aug. 1837 Her age not known James W. Conway Born Nov. 26, 1805 Died March 25, 1887 Ann B. Conway Wife of James W. Conway Born 18th Aug. 1807 Married 13th Nov. 1824 Died July 10, 1844 John T. Conway Son of James W. and Ann B. Conway Born 16th Sept. 1830 Died 7th July 1855 Christopher O. Conway Son of James & Ann B.
