Cemetery Location:  5 miles east of Chatham, Virginia, on Route #649, near the 
                    entrance to Clark’s Bridge on the northeast side of the 
                    road, down a private road leading into the old home of 
                    William Fitzgerald, now owned by Blair, Latne and Thomas F. 
                    Motley Jr. [1936]
                    Pittsylvania Co., Virginia

DESCRIPTION:

This graveyard is enclosed with a high rock wall.  There are several large 
boxwoods in the graveyard.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:


William Fitzgerald
Born May 21, 1794
Died June 20, 1866
He was a true friend, an honest man and sincere christian.
