Of course, the cows knocked them right back over!!! I have pictures of the headstones and this is what is on them: F.C. Hubbard Born Sept. 1819 Died Sept. 18, 1897 Gone but not forgotten Letitia S. Hubbard Born Mar. 25, 1831 Died June 24, 1909 Farewell, Dear Mother, Sweet Thy Rest I have a copy of Letitia's Obituary (online in /obits/ directory) and a picture of her and Franklin Clement Hubbard. I really want to get a fence around the graveyard. We, also, dug up another headstone that read: Lawton M. Son of W.M. & M.H. Lawrence Born Jan.28,1900 Died Aug.8,1900 I have been told that there are approximatedly 12 to 15 graves in the cemetery and I would like to know where the border in around all of the graves before a fence is put up. The first grave there was for Hezekiah Hubbard (9/12/1782 - 2/13/1822). He was the father of Franklin Clement Hubbard and his father, John Hubbard owned this land prior to it being willed to him. Hezekiah fought in the War of 1812. I have, also, been told that there is a slave cemetery located within site of the family cemetery.
