PITTSYLVANIA CO., VA - CEMETERIES – Price and Farthing Cemetery ----¤¤¤---- Source: Library of Virginia Digital Collection LVA Titled Files: Survey Report, Price and Farthing graveyard: 1937 July 15 Research made by Mabel Moses Cemetery Location: 9 miles west of Chatham, Virginia, on Route #57, thence south 4.5 miles on Route #750, thence northeast 2.5 miles on Route #612, thence east .5 mile on private road. Pittsylvania Co., Virginia DATE: 1866. OWNERS: Stephen Price and his descendants DESCRIPTION: The graveyard is situated on a high knoll not far from the old home of Stephen Price. It is enclosed by an iron fence but is badly overgrown with bushes and weeds. It is in the midst of a body of tall pine trees in a rather secluded spot on the plantation.
