Cemetery Location:  Go 5.5 miles south of Callands, Virginia on Route #41; 
                    thence House on the east (left) side of the road in the 
                    village of Swansonville, Virginia.
                    Pittsylvania Co., Virginia

About 1820.

DESCRIPTION:

To the side of the house and the rear of the church is a small private burying 
ground, call Swanson’s Burial Grounds.  There are only three markers that have 
inscriptions on them although there are other graves there that are older but 
they have only old field rocks as stones at the head and feet.

Dr. W. G. Swanson

Note:  Dr. W.G. Swanson was a son of John Swanson and Julia B. Swanson above.
